GP Homelife Show 2017 – Pavillion K & B Stage Kitchen Head Chef Spotlight

Award winning Head Chef Ashraf Elsergany, known for his high quality, innovative and imaginative dishes (Saints Bay Hotel), has agreed to demonstrate his signature dish at this years GP Homelife show. Ashraf and Jack McLuckie from Pavillion K&B Kitchens discussed the proposed layout of the stage kitchen and the appliances that Ashraf and the other chefs will be using.

Ashraf achieved a Michelin star in 2004 and has since won many accolades such as Chef of the Year in 2009 and 2013 in Guernsey.  He regularly presents a cooking show in Dubai and has a small converted kitchen for filming local English dishes for the Dubai audience! Ashraf is very proud of the sourdough he makes at the Saints Bay Hotel as well as the hundreds of Guernsey Cache he makes each day to sell to various outlets around the Island.  High tea at Saints Bay Hotel is always very busy with this local produce which also includes homemade strawberry jam and guernsey dairy cream.

Every year the tasting after the demonstrations is welcomed by the audience, as it’s not every day you get to watch an amazing dish being prepared and then try it!

With many new exhibitors already signed up, this show is shaping up to be an exciting event, with over 90 companies offering different ideas and products for every home.
